Frequently Asked Questions

Do I set aside scoring dice every time I roll?

Yes. After every roll you must set aside at least one scoring die or scoring combo that is valid for your role, then reroll only the remaining dice.

Do set aside dice ever get rolled again?

No. Once dice are set aside, they are locked until you Summit.

Is this like Yahtzee, do I check off each scoring option once?

No. You are building a turn total by scoring as you go. You can score the same thing multiple times.

Can I score more than one thing from a single roll, including duplicates?

Yes, as long as the dice do not overlap. If you roll two skiers you can score both. If you roll POW POW you can score POW twice.

What counts as a Yard Sale?

A Yard Sale happens when you roll and cannot set aside anything that scores for your role, either a single die or a combo. You lose all RUNS from that turn.

When is it too late to call out Yard Sale bonus RUNS?

Yard Sale bonus RUNS must be called out before the next player rolls the POW dice, or the bonus is lost.

What happens on a Summit? Can I stop after?

If you score all six POW dice in one turn, you Summit. Your turn total carries over, and you must keep going. Either roll all six POW dice again or roll the Last Run die.

When does the final round start, exactly?

The final round starts when a player ends their turn with 50 or more RUNS. Then every other player gets one final turn, highest score wins.

Can either role score the Ultimate Combo that contains both a skier and snowboarder icon?

Yes. The Ultimate Combo is universal, either skiers or snowboarders can score it when it is rolled.
